Those of us who are part of it aim to organize ourselves around the marketing of the products and pieces of art that we create, not only to strengthen local and regional economies and thus improve the quality of life of the communities, but above all to sustain the processes of defending the territory towards the construction and reaffirmation of our Autonomies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For decades, our people have been seen merely as recipients of goodwill or beneficiaries of intentions. Through Xanay, we are the protagonists of our own history: through our art, our creation and production, we create the mechanisms to strengthen and consolidate our self-determination. That is why we create, that is why we design, that is why we produce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We produce and create respecting the rhythms of life in our territories. We don't want to satisfy the frenetic market, but rather restore human dignity by producing and consuming consciously, respectfully, harmoniously, and meaningfully. As we always have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Each piece, each product is an anchor to the earth, to the water, to the air\u2026 to the land, to the community that is cared for, respected, protected, and appreciated. Ancestral heritages that we undertake daily to continue, preserve, and share.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Weaving ourselves into a network to see ourselves, to recognize ourselves in the faces, hearts, and hands that produce and create. It is looking at our history and our present with recognition and admiration, and also with hope and resilience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
