Ñuu Savi women who weave and embroider collectively, united around textile art as a gesture of solidarity and mutual support. Each piece they create represents great dedication and many hours of work. Many of the embroideries feature ancient iconography (ita káxin), preserving the knowledge of the older women in the communities and passing it on to the younger generations. This is why their pieces are unique and special.
